About Our Team

Dr. Joell Sheahan is a graduate of the University of Florida (UF) College of Veterinary Medicine with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. She also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from the UF College of Agriculture. Dr. Sheahan is Board Certified in the State of Florida and is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association.  Dr. Sheahan is a Fear Free Certified Professional and recently achieved a Silver Certification from Low Stress Handling University.  She worked in private, corporate, and emergency practice prior to founding Mobile Vet to Pet Veterinary House Call Service. Her motivation in starting Mobile Vet to Pet was to serve her clients and their pets in a more relaxed and familiar environment.   She grew up in South Florida and has lived in Florida most of her life. She now resides in Clermont on a small farm with her husband, three children, two Great Pyrenees (Storm and Rogue), Border Collie Mix (Baby) and her 30 year old Amazon Parrot Rico.


Dr. Martha Jones is a graduate of Mississippi State University School of Veterinary Medicine. She also earned a B.S. in Animal Science with graduate work in Animal Physiology  and Animal Reproductive Physiology. Dr. Jones has a special interest in preventative medicine, fear free handling, dentistry, and theriogenology. She is Board Certified in the State of Florida, a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Central Florida Veterinary Medical Association, and the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society. Dr. Jones has worked in private, corporate, emergency, and non-profit spay/neuter programs in Costa Rica.  Dr. Jones is originally from Mississippi and has called Central Florida home for the last decade. Her furry family includes three cats (Crooks, Tucker, and Jedi), one horse named Sampson, and is working on finding the right fit for the next canine family member. Her interests outside of the veterinary profession include travel, lifelong learning, ultra-running, and gardening.


Dr. Ana Jaar, DVM is a graduate of Universidad Nacional Pedro Henriquez Urena in her native Dominican Republic with a doctorate in Veterinary Medicine.  Dr. Jaar is board certified in the State of Florida, is a member of the American Veterinary Association. She is also a Fear Free Certified Professional.  She has been in practice in Florida for 21 years in private practice.  Dr. Jaar frequently works with special needs pets. She and her fiancé are recent transplants to Clermont. She shares her home with her Yorkie, Linda and Chihuahua mix, Bandit.


Dr. Brianne Nelsonis a graduate of the University of Florida (UF) College of Veterinary Medicine with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. She also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Biology from the UF College of Agriculture and Life Sciences with a minor in Business Administration from the College of Business Administration.  Dr. Nelson is Board Certified in the State of Florida and is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association. She is also a Fear Free Certified Professional.  She subscribes to the idea that Australian Shepherds (Aussies) are like potato chips, you can’t just have one.  Dr.Nelson trains her pups in Obedience, Rally, Agility, and Herding, and has a real passion for using behavioral modification and training to enhance the bond between pets and the people who love them. Dr. Nelson is bi-lingual in english and french.


Dr. Marie Gravatt is a graduate of Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech and also completed a B.S. in Biology at the University of Delaware.  She has over 10 years in general and emergency practice. She is Board Certified in the State of Florida and is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association. She has a  passion of helping homeless animals at animal shelters.  She has a lifelong love of Great Danes.  She and her family enjoy fostering animals and helping them find their new families. She grew up “up north” in Delaware, and been a resident of South Lake County for 15 years.


Kelly has worked in the veterinary field for 14 years as a veterinary technician and has been with Mobile Vet to Pet for over eight years. She is a Fear Free Certified Professional.  Kelly has a passion for pet rescue, especially bully breeds, which she feels get an undeserved bad reputation. Kelly is originally from South Florida and now resides in Clermont with her lovely black feline Voodoo and dogs Gypsy, Diezel, and Phoenix.


Skyler was raised in the veterinary life.  She is a full time student but helps us part time as one of our technicians.  She lives in Clermont and has daily responsibility for taking care of Grassy Lake Farm’s animals, including dairy goats and chickens.  She also helps foster homeless animals until they find permanent homes.


Brandi, is originally from Southwest Florida where she developed a passion for animals. She has a degree in Veterinary Technology from St. Petersburg College and Bachelor’s degree in Business from Webber International University. She lives in Clermont with her Fiance, son Jace, and Nike her Boxer. Her horse, Star, resides close by on 22 acres with family.


Hannah is originally from the United Kingdom.  She is often one of the first voices you hear when calling.  She lives in Clermont with her husband, daughter Ren, Ellie her rescue cat and two bunnies. Hannah is a Fear Free Certified Professional with a love for all animals.


Brittany Wallin.  A recent transplant from New Jersey, she joined our office team after relocating with her family from New Jersey. Brittany received her degree in Veterinary Technology in 2016 and is also a Fear Free Certified Professional.  She lives in Clermont with her family, including Remy her pure blooded lovable mutt.  She has a great love for all creatures great and small.


Brian Sheahan, Owner/Practice Manager

Brian Sheahan, Owner/Practice Manager. Brian is a graduate of the University of Florida where he earned Bachelors and Masters degrees.  He has worked in management and customer service most of his professional life, including public animal shelters.  He is a Fear Free Certified Professional. In 2009, he helped start Mobile Vet to Pet Veterinary House Call Service and recently joined the practice full time as it has grown. He is committed to the vision of providing the highest quality care for pets while also providing exceptional customer service.  He grew up in South Florida and has lived in Florida most of his life. He is a veteran of the U.S. Navy and resides with his family in Clermont their mini-farm, Great Pyrenees (Storm and Rogue), Border Collie (Baby), Foster Failure Cat (Loca), and Amazon Parrot (Rico), as well as an assorted cast of farm animals and foster pets.
