Dr. Joell Sheahan is a graduate of the University of Florida (UF) College of Veterinary Medicine with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. She also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from the UF College of Agriculture. Dr. Sheahan is Board Certified in the State of Florida and is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Sheahan is a Fear Free Certified Professional and recently achieved a Silver Certification from Low Stress Handling University. She worked in private, corporate, and emergency practice prior to founding Mobile Vet to Pet Veterinary House Call Service. Her motivation in starting Mobile Vet to Pet was to serve her clients and their pets in a more relaxed and familiar environment. She grew up in South Florida and has lived in Florida most of her life. She now resides in Clermont on a small farm with her husband, three children, two Great Pyrenees (Storm and Rogue), Border Collie Mix (Baby) and her 30 year old Amazon Parrot Rico.
Dr. Marie Gravatt is a graduate of Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech and also completed a B.S. in Biology at the University of Delaware. She has over 10 years in general and emergency practice. She is Board Certified in the State of Florida and is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association. She has a passion of helping homeless animals at animal shelters. She has a lifelong love of Great Danes. She and her family enjoy fostering animals and helping them find their new families. She grew up “up north” in Delaware, and been a resident of South Lake County for 15 years.
Dr. Laura Bork was born and raised in Buffalo, NY. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree at Cornell University. No longer wanting to live in cold and snow, Dr. Bork moved to Florida upon graduating and completed a one-year Internship at a 24 hour Emergency/Referral hospital in southwest Florida. Wanting to be closer to her favorite theme parks, she decided to make Clermont her home. In her spare time, if not at one of Orlando’s world class theme parks, she is watching New Orleans Saint’s Football or enjoying music from her favorite 90’s pop music icon. Additionally, Dr. Bork volunteers her time at Lake Louisa State Park and is Treasurer of the Friends of Lake Louisa, a non-profit organization that works to enhance the park and promote guest education. She is a Fear Free Certified Professional.
Dr. Brianne Nelson is a graduate of the University of Florida (UF) College of Veterinary Medicine with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. She also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Biology from the UF College of Agriculture and Life Sciences with a minor in Business Administration from the College of Business Administration. Dr. Nelson is Board Certified in the State of Florida and is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association. She is also a Fear Free Certified Professional. She subscribes to the idea that Australian Shepherds (Aussies) are like potato chips, you can’t just have one. Dr.Nelson trains her pups in Obedience, Rally, Agility, and Herding, and has a real passion for using behavioral modification and training to enhance the bond between pets and the people who love them. Dr. Nelson is bi-lingual in english and french.
Dr. Ana Jaar, DVM is a graduate of Universidad Nacional Pedro Henriquez Urena in her native Dominican Republic with a doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Jaar is board certified in the State of Florida, is a member of the American Veterinary Association. She is also a Fear Free Certified Professional. She has been in practice in Florida for 21 years in private practice. Dr. Jaar frequently works with special needs pets. She and her fiancé are recent transplants to Clermont. She shares her home with her Yorkie, Linda and Chihuahua mix, Bandit.
Skyler, Lead Veterinary Technician. Skyler was raised in the veterinary life. She has always had a love for pets. She is one our practices’ true Cat Whisperers. She is a Fear Free certified professional and holds a Silver Certification from Dr. Sophia Yin’s Low Stress Handling University. She is a full time student at the University of Central Florida where she is completing her Bachelor’s degree.
Brandi, Veterinary Technician, is originally from Southwest Florida where she developed a passion for animals. She has a degree in Veterinary Technology from St. Petersburg College and Bachelor’s degree in Business from Webber International University. She lives in Clermont with her Fiance, son Jace, and Nike her Boxer. Her horse, Star, resides close by on 22 acres with family. She is an avid softball player.
Brandy Z, Veterinary Technician/Reception is a Central Florida Native and has a long family history in Veterinary Medicine. Brandy is a Fear Free Certified Professional with a love for all animals.
Hannah, Veterinary Technician/Reception is originally from the United Kingdom. She is often one of the first voices you hear when calling. She lives in Clermont with her husband, daughter Ren, Ellie her rescue cat and two bunnies. Hannah is a Fear Free Certified Professional with a love for all animals.
Melissa, Reception, grew up in Maine and recently relocated to Minneola with her family, including her two cats. Melissa has had a love of animals from a young age. After a 13 year career, she decided to switch to the veterinary field to follow her passion of helping pets and people. In her free time you can find her at a theme park of enjoying time pool side.
Heidi, Veterinary Technician, Heidi was born in California and migrated east. After 20 years in customer service she decided to pursue her passion for animals. She currently lives in Clermont with her family which includes 3 dogs, 4 cats, 2 Bearded Dragons, Tortoise, and a Ball Python.
Brian, Owner/Practice Manager. Brian is a graduate of the University of Florida where he earned both Bachelors and Masters degrees. He has worked in management and customer service most of his professional life, including public animal shelters. He is a Fear Free Certified Professional. In 2009, he helped start the practice and joined the practice full time as it has grown. He is committed to the vision of providing the highest quality care for pets with exceptional customer service. He grew up in South Florida and has lived in Florida most of his life. He is a veteran of the U.S. Navy and resides with his family in Clermont on their mini-farm. His family includes two Great Pyrenees (Storm and Rogue), Border Collie (Baby), Foster Failure Cat (Loca), and Amazon Parrot (Rico), as well as an assorted cast of farm animals and foster pets.
